Santai Toraja

The restaurant area has big windows with paddy field views, our fav spot is sitting in front of those windows :)

Quiet area. Nice view of rice paddies and mountains. Clean room serviced daily.

The gentleman at the front desk was rude and dishonest. We had a taxi agree to take us 2km (from where the bus dropped us off) to the hotel for 50k idr. When we got to the hotel the driver wanted 100k. The driver enlisted the man at the front desk to try to get 100k. I asked the man at the front desk if 100k is normal to go 2k. He said “sometimes”Which is a lie. If you don’t hire one of the guides in the lobby, they are not very friendly.

Lovely clean place conveniently located to the spectacular sights of Tana Toraja. Clean spacious room with balcony overlooking a rice fiend. I think I could say that this is the best hotel in town, it's the newest. Really nice staff.

Food at restaurant was fair but they did make nice pineapple juice. Road to enter is rough and bumpy but not a big deal. No elevator.

BREAKFAST OPTIONS WERE GREAT. IT IS ABEAUTIFUL HOTEL, STAFIS VERY WELCOMNG AND ATTENTIVE.

BATHROOM LIGHTING WAS NOT TOO BRIGHT SO I HAD TROUBLE SEEING MY CONTACTS TO PUT THEM IN MY EYES.

While breakfast was very good, we preferred the restaurant across the road for the dinner

A very comfortable place to stay in Tana Toraja.Owner and staff are very helpful and engaging.Location is in quiet area of town with spacious modern room and sweeping balcony view on the 2nd floor, which has the best rooms.Good Torajan drip coffee in room.Breakfast is good with freshly made eggs, some Indonesian varieties, and good choice of fruitsRestaurant menu is fairly limited but the cafe across from hotel makes excellent grilled fishThere are plenty of guide service available at hotel at reasonable prices.An excellent choice for a good value hotel option.

This hotel is beautiful and very well looked after. Staff are kind and extremely helpful. View over the rice fields is superb!

New building with very clean bedsheets and bathroom

The staff didn’t get it right at all, gave a chocolate cake to my friend even tho I asked twice for one without due to allergies. They still failed. Breakfast unimpressive. For The breakfast box on the last day , they didn’t care to follow the instructions at all, gave an oily grilled cheese sandwich. The staff need more training and anticipation. There seems to be no management to oversee the issues or operation. Overall better than other options in Toraja, but still doesn’t quite hit the mark.

beautiful hotel in very quiet place with the spacy rice field view. Also the location is very comfortable. Super clean room, great food from its restaurant, caring staff,. definitely recommended.

i like the ambiance and the view. the staff were also helpful and nice. its serenity helps guest rest well. f

the room has no ac, for some, ac is not necessary in a place like toraja but its hot during the day so there is a fan hanging up the ceiling to cool down the temp.

It may be the best place in Toraja
